Thio-S-Am is a clear liquid Nitrogen and Sulphur fertilizer consisted by ammonium thiosulfate which increases the crop yield while affecting the Nitrogen-Sulfur balance in the soil and increasing the content of sulfur in soils poor in sulfur. Furthermore, Thio-S-Am helps plants to assimilate and utilise better other soil nutrients as well. Thio-S-Am is being degraded by the soil microorganisms and as a results releases nitrogen and sulfur. Besides that, Thio-S-Am reduces nitrate nitrogen losses by leaching and ammonia nitrogen losses by evaporation since it acts as an inhibitor of nitrification and urease.
