AzoSpir is a microbial inoculant containing beneficial nitrogen-fixing bacteria. In specific it contains bacteria of the genus Azospirillum which are symbiotic bacteria found naturally on the root hairs of plants and bacteria of the genus Azotobacter which are free-living bacteria in the soil. These bacteria bind the atmospheric nitrogen and convert it to ammonia and in parallel they produce substances (IAA, GA) which promote the growth and health of the root system. AzoSpir contains an ideal combination of organic plant nutrients that the beneficial nitrogen-fixing bacteria use as a prepared food source. Finally the nutrient content of AzoSpir improves the physico-chemical properties of the soil.
