PhosBactin is a microbial inoculant containing beneficial bacteria which are capable of dissolving and mobilizing mineral soil phosphorus. In specific, it contains the bacteria Bacillus megaterium vP, Pseudomonas putida and Pseudomonas fluorescence which are free-living bacteria that dissolve the phosphorus of the soil converting it into a readily available to the plants form. At the same time, they produce substances (IAA, GA) which promote the growth and health of the root system. PhosBactin contains an ideal combination of organic plant nutrients that the beneficial phosphate solubilizing bacteria use as a prepared food source. Finally, the nutrient content of PhosBactin improves the physicochemical properties of the soil.
